Five presidents already confirm participation in Zelensky’s inauguration

The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine has received confirmation of participation of the presidents of the Baltic countries, Georgia and Hungary in the inauguration ceremony of Ukrainian President-elect Volodymyr Zelensky.

Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Kateryna Zelenko said this to Ukrinform’s correspondent on Friday.

"As of now, the Foreign Ministry received the confirmation of participation of the presidents of the Baltic countries, Georgia and Hungary," she said.

The ceremony will be also attended by Vice-President of the European Commission Maros Sefcovic. NATO’s delegation will be headed by Assistant Secretary General Alejandro Alvargonzález. Canada’s delegation will be led by Minister of National Defence Harjit Sajjan.

"The inauguration ceremony will be attended by numerous representatives of governments and parliaments of the states of the European Union, the Group of Seven (G7) and ambassadors of foreign states," Zelenko added.

The inauguration ceremony will take place at the Verkhovna Rada on May 20.
