Poroshenko signs law on bankruptcy procedures

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed the law on bankruptcy procedures.

He stated this at a meeting with business representatives on Monday, April 15, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

“There is good news. I have signed the law on bankruptcy today. Even though we had some issues of organizational design. I think that at the level of normative documents, we will find an opportunity to resolve it. We have the position of the VR committee, the government. We fulfill our promises,” Poroshenko said.

He also added that the new law on currency came into force, and the National Bank of Ukraine approved all the legal acts forming the basis for the new currency regulation system. In March, 149 outdated regulatory documents were canceled. All this will improve business conditions, Poroshenko emphasized.

As Ukrinform reported, in October 2018, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the Code of Bankruptcy Procedures (No.8060).
