Ukraine-EU summit to be held in early July – source

The Ukraine-EU Summit will be held in the first half of July.

Ukrinform's correspondent in Brussels learnt this from the diplomatic circles of the European Union.

"The date of July 9 is being considered, but it has not been formally approved yet," the source said.

Bilateral summits between Ukraine and the European Union are held once a year, in Kyiv and Brussels alternately. The Ukrainian delegation at the summit is headed by the president, and the European side - by the presidents of the European Council and the European Commission.

As a reminder, Brussels will also host the NATO summit on July 11-12.
