Lavrov ignores issue of Crimea at ‘Normandy format’ meeting – Klimkin

Russia ignores the issue of Crimea during the meetings in the “Normandy format”, but Ukraine will raise it again.

Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin said this to reporters in the Ministry on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Of course, I raised the issue [about the start of negotiations on de-occupation of Crimea at the negotiations in the “Normandy format" on February 13]. Lavrov pretended he did not respond to it. I'm going to raise [this issue] at the next meeting in the full-fledged comprehensive ‘Normandy format’," he said.

Klimkin added that he was going to meet with the foreign ministers of Germany and France next week.

"So far, we plan [to hold the meeting] in early March. It is most likely to be held in Paris if the French side will invite us," he said.
