NATO may invite Ukraine to its summit
NATO is considering the possibility of inviting Ukraine to the summit of the Alliance to be held in Warsaw next year.
This was stated by Director of the NATO Information and Documentation Center in Ukraine Natalia Nemylovska at the forum "Day of the Euro-Atlantic Partnership: NATO-Ukraine Cooperation v2.0" in Kyiv on Tuesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"The NATO summit will take place in July. We need to think how to include Ukraine in this process," she said.
"We have many tasks associated with how to change relations between Ukraine and NATO, how to work with the society, which no longer sees NATO as the aggressor and the enemy," Nemylovska said.
As a reminder, the 27th meeting at the level of Heads of State and Government of NATO Member States is to be held in Warsaw on July 8-9, 2016. It will be the first NATO summit in Poland.
