According to Ukrinform, the Northern Forest Office branch reported this on Facebook.

"The large-scale forest fire that broke out in the Koriukivka forestry district of the State Enterprise 'Forests of Ukraine' has been localized. Its spread has now been stopped," the statement said.

Forestry workers noted that weather conditions contributed to containing the fire, including lower temperatures, rainfall, and southwesterly winds.

Forestry personnel laid 129 kilometers of mineralized firebreak strips. Staff members continue monitoring and patrolling the affected areas.
