Kharkiv region targeted by overnight drone attacks, fires break out

Russian forces launched overnight drone attacks on the town of Velykyi Burluk and the village of Bezruky in the Kharkiv region on May 12, sparking fires.

According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported the attacks on Facebook.

During the night, Russian troops struck the territory of an enterprise in Velykyi Burluk in the Kupiansk district with a combat drone. A bus and a cargo truck caught fire as a result of the strike.

Another drone attack targeted a private household in the village of Bezruky in the Derhachi community of the Kharkiv district. An outbuilding caught fire, and a residential house was damaged.

Emergency responders quickly extinguished all fires. No casualties were reported.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, one person was killed and four others injured in Russian nighttime attacks across the Dnipropetrovsk region.
