Kherson region governor: 23 settlements remain flooded

The average water level in the Kherson region currently stands at 93 centimeters.

Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson regional military administration, said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

"In the Kherson region, as of 14:00, the average water level is 93 centimeters. Twenty-three settlements are flooded, six of them on the right bank [of the Dnipro River], and all others on the left bank," Prokudin said.

He also noted that 879 residential buildings remain flooded in the right-bank part of the Kherson region.

Early on June 6, the Russian army blew up the dam of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant.
