Some military infrastructure facilities on fire in Kyiv Region

As a result of missile attacks, a number of military infrastructure facilities in Kyiv Region have been caught on fire, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian State Emergency Service on Telegram.

“As of 06:30 a.m., fire outbreaks occurred within ammunition depots in the village of Olshanytsia (Bila Tserkva District), the command center of the National Guard of Ukraine in the village of Novi Petrivtsi. Fire station 39 was damaged in the village of Mezhyhiria (Kyiv Region). As a result of attacks at the command and control center in the city of Nizhyn, Chernihiv Region, three rescue workers of the Ukrainian State Emergency Service were injured,” the report states.

A reminder that, in the morning of February 24, 2022, blast sounds were heard in the city of Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities. The first reports came at about 05:00 a.m., after Putin announced a decision to conduct a special military operation in Donbas.
