Ukraine’s Emergency Service warns of avalanche danger in Carpathians at weekend
On February 1-2, considerable avalanche danger is expected in Ukraine’s Carpathian mountains.
The State Emergency Service reported this with reference to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center's forecasts.
"On February 1-2, considerable (3) level of avalanche risk is expected in the mountainous areas of Ivano-Frankivsk and Zakarpattia regions due to heavy snowfalls,” the report reads.
