Bad weather leaves 71 towns and villages in seven regions without electricity

Adverse weather conditions overnight into Saturday have left 71 populated areas in seven regions in Ukraine without electricity.

This has been reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

"A total of 71 populated areas in seven regions of Ukraine still remain without electricity because of adverse weather conditions that occurred during the period from January 6 to January 7  (snowstorm, wet snow, gusts of wind, and icy condition of roads), " the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports.

Emergency teams of Oblenergo are involved in the works on restoring electricity supply in these regions.
