Ukravtoprom: Share of new buses in Ukrainian market exceeds 50%

In March, 247 buses were sold in Ukraine, 52% of which were new.

According to Ukrinform, the Association of Automobile Manufacturers of Ukraine (Ukravtoprom) reported this on Telegram.

“Last month, 247 buses (including minibusses) were added to the Ukrainian fleet. This is 21% more than in March 2025. New vehicles accounted for 52% of this total, compared to 34% last year,” the statement said.

In total, 647 buses have been added to Ukraine’s bus fleet since the beginning of the year (+6% compared to the same period in 2025). Of these, 319 were new (+10%), and 328 were used (+2.5%).

The most frequently registered new buses in March were Isuzu (29 units), Ford (23 units), and Citroën (15 units).

Among used buses, the sales leaders were Mercedes-Benz (57 units), Volkswagen (10 units), and Van Hool (9 units).

As reported, the Vasylkiv community in the Kyiv region received five buses from the French region of Île-de-France.
