Three frontline regions are without power due to attacks on energy infrastructure

As of the morning of March 11, Russian attacks have left users in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv regions without power.

According to Ukrinform, NPC Ukrenergo reported this on Facebook.

“The enemy continues to attack the energy infrastructure of frontline regions. As of this morning, Russian drone and artillery strikes have left users in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv regions without power. Emergency repair work has already begun wherever security conditions currently allow,” the statement said.

Due to the consequences of previous massive attacks on the energy sector, power restriction schedules are being implemented in some regions for industrial users. In the evening, forced hourly blackouts are expected for all user categories.

As of 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, electricity consumption is at the same level as yesterday. At the same time, Ukrenergo advises adjusting consumption to account for weather conditions. In particular, it recommends shifting the use of powerful appliances to the hours when solar power plants are most efficient, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
