Germany allocates more than €200M to Ukraine for civil protection
Germany is providing over EUR 200 million to protect Ukraine's civilian population and critical infrastructure.
The German Federal Foreign Office stated this on the social network X, Ukrinform reports.
"What strengthens Ukraine also protects the EU. Despite the escalation in the Middle East, support for Ukraine remains extremely important," the statement says.
As noted by the foreign policy agency, in order for Ukraine to "continue to withstand Putin's bombing terror," Germany is allocating an additional EUR 200 million for civil and critical protection.
As reported, Germany, as part of a broad support package, handed over 13 vehicles to Ukrzaliznytsia for eliminating the consequences of Russian shelling.
