Decision on EUR 90B loan to Ukraine cannot be changed despite Hungary's blockade – Zelensky

The decision by the European Union to provide Ukraine with a EUR 90 billion loan cannot be changed despite Hungary's blockade.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this at a press conference following the Ukraine-Nordic-Baltic Summit in Kyiv on Tuesday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"We had a conversation today with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. She told me that, in any case, the decision had been adopted by all 27 member states [of the European Council], and therefore it cannot be changed. She said she would find the tools to ensure the implementation of this decision, and Ukraine will receive the first tranche of the EUR 90 billion this spring," Zelensky said.
