Four regions without power after overnight Russian attacks - Ukrenergo
As of the morning of December 3, consumers in four regions were left without power due to Russian attacks.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by NEC “Ukrenergo” on Facebook.
"At night, the enemy attacked power facilities in several regions. As a result, consumers in the Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions are now without power. Emergency repair work is ongoing in all regions. Energy companies are doing everything possible to restore the equipment damaged by the enemy as quickly as possible," the statement said.
It is noted that as of 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, electricity consumption is 1.6% lower than the previous day. The reason for this decrease is the forced application of a larger number of power outages.
"Given the consequences of the shelling and weather conditions (lower temperatures, high cloud cover, which leads to increased energy consumption and low efficiency of industrial and domestic solar power plants), there is still a need for energy conservation today. Please limit the use of powerful electrical appliances. If possible, move energy-intensive processes to night hours – after 10 p.m.," Ukrenergo advises.
As reported, electricity consumption will be restricted in all regions of Ukraine on December 3, with schedules for all consumers in effect from 00:00 to 23:59.
