Russian forces carry out five strikes on coal enterprises in Donetsk region

Russian forces dropped five guided aerial bombs on coal industry facilities in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region.

The Ukrainian Energy Ministry said this in a statement seen by Ukrinform.

"Five airstrikes with guided aerial bombs in the Donetsk region targeted facilities belonging to coal industry enterprises. A boiler house, as well as administrative and warehouse buildings, were damaged. The enterprises are currently not operating," the ministry said.

Preliminary reports indicate there were no casualties.

On October 25, Russian forces attacked a coal mine in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
