Emergency power outages to remain in place in some regions on Sunday

In Ukraine, on Sunday, February 8, hourly power outage schedules will be in effect for household consumers throughout the entire day, while industrial consumers will face capacity restrictions. In some regions, emergency power outages will continue to be applied.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the NPC Ukrenergo on Telegram.

“On February 8, hourly outage schedules and power limitation schedules (for industrial consumers) will be applied throughout the entire day,” the statement said.

The Ukrenergo noted that in certain regions, emergency power cuts will continue until the situation in the energy system stabilizes.

Energy workers are doing everything possible to return as quickly as possible to predictable scheduled outages in all regions.

The reason for the restrictions is the aftermath of Russian missile and drone attacks on the energy system.
