Shmyhal showcases samples of Ukrainian weaponry to international partners
The capabilities of Ukraine's defense industry were demonstrated to Lithuanian Prime Minister Inga Ruginiene, NATO representatives and other foreign guests.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
Shmyhal said that he and his team had presented the capabilities of Ukraine's weapons production to Lithuania's prime minister, NATO representatives and other visiting foreign delegations.
Among the attendees were Denmark's Minister of Defense Troels Lund Poulsen, Denmark's Minister for Industry, Business and Financial Affairs Morten Bodskov, and Norway's State Secretary at the Ministry of Defense Andreas Flam.
"We demonstrated ready solutions that strike the enemy at the front and in the rear. Our manufacturers presented their products, which can already be produced tomorrow in partner countries under the Build with Ukraine program. Drones, munitions, rockets, robots, artillery and armored vehicles – this is what we produce now and what we are ready to co-produce with partners," Shmyhal said.
Ukraine is urging partner countries to "invest in building the arsenal of the free world. Build together with Ukraine. Ukrainian weapons are weapons of the free world," Shmyhal said.
President Volodymyr Zelensky earlier tasked the government and domestic manufacturers with ensuring that at least 50% of the weapons used at the front are produced in Ukraine by the end of the year.
