Without cooperation with Ukraine, Europe risks falling behind in drone production — Zelensky
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called on European partners to join drone production in Ukraine, including interceptor drones, so as not to cede the field to Russia.
He made the remarks during a virtual appearance at the Warsaw Security Forum, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"Today Ukraine has interceptor drones, and this is a kind of know-how. But believe me, Russia will have all of this in three months. The course of this war shows that. But if Russia receives it, that does not automatically mean that Europe will get it immediately," Zelensky said.
He added that intercepting drones answers the question of how to protect the skies and counter any aerial threats, and that Ukraine needs additional funding now to produce interceptor drones.
