Electricity consumption rises in Ukraine – Ukrenergo

Due to cloudy weather, as of the morning of March 11, electricity consumption in Ukraine is 4.1% higher than the previous day.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by NPC Ukrenergo on Facebook.

“Electricity consumption has increased. Today, on March 11, as of 09:30, its level was 4.1% higher than at the same time on the previous day - on Monday, March 10. The reason is cloudy weather in several regions, which leads to lower efficiency of household solar power plants,” the statement said.

Ukrenergo advises to use powerful electrical appliances in the daytime - from 10:00 to 18:00.
