H&M outlets to open at two Kyiv malls on Nov 16

On November 16, the H&M retail chain will extend operations in Ukraine, opening outlets at Kyiv’s Retroville and River Mall.

That’s according to an exclusive comment to Ukrinform by the company’s representative office.

"The H&M stores in Lavina Mall and Respublika Park in Kyiv are already open. In the coming weeks, we plan to gradually reopen the rest of the outlets in Kyiv. The next openings will be in Retroville and River Mall on November 16," the comment reads.

As reported, H&M Group has temporarily shut down its outlets across Ukraine as Russia launched a full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022. In the summer of 2023, H&M announced plans to gradually reopen most of its outlets in Ukraine from November.

The Swedish company Hennes&Mauritz AB (H&M), the owner of the second largest chain of clothing outlets in Europe, opened its first store in Ukraine in 2018. Before the full-scale invasion, the H&M network in Ukraine had eight outlets: five in Kyiv and one each in Odesa, Kharkiv, and Lviv.
