World Bank Group's vice presidents arrive in Ukraine

Antonella Bassani, Vice President of the Europe and Central Asia Region at the World Bank., and Alfonso Garcia Mora, Regional Vice President for Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean at the International Finance Corporation, have arrived in Kyiv as part of their first official visit to Ukraine.

The World Bank's press service told this to Ukrinform.

During their visit to Ukraine, World Bank representatives will meet with Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and other government officials.

They will also hold discussions with partners from international development institutes, as well as with representatives of civil society organizations and Ukraine's private sector.

Bassani said the World Bank Group and its international partners stand united in their unwavering support for the government and people of Ukraine.

Mora, in turn, noted that Ukraine's private sector had demonstrated extraordinary resilience, preserving jobs and providing Ukrainians with basic goods and services.
