Residents of Kherson region already received over UAH 2M under eRecovery program

Residents of Beryslav district, Kherson region, whose homes were damaged by the Russian aggression, have started to get financial assistance under the eRecovery program: first 19 people have already received a total of over UAH 2 million.

Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“eRecovery is operating in Kherson region! The first 19 residents of the region have already received payments for a total amount of over UAH 2 million," wrote Prokudin.

In a video commentary, he specified that compensation is issued through the Diia service, 19 residents of Beryslav district have already received the payments.

As reported by Ukrinform, the eRecovery program was launched on May 10. Every citizen whose home was damaged by the Russian armed aggression can apply for state aid for housing repair.

As of June 21, 20,308 applications were submitted. Most came from Kharkiv region (7,238), Kyiv region (4,924), Mykolaiv region (1,555), Kherson region (1,477), and Donetsk regio (1,275). Citizens submitted the most applications for assistance in the restoration of an apartment (53.6%) and a private house (45.9%).
