PM Shmyhal announces important agreements to be signed in Rome

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced several important agreements that are planned to be signed during the Ukraine Reconstruction Conference in Rome.

"The Ukraine Reconstruction Conference in Rome is yielding results. Important agreements, which will add dynamics to our relations, will be signed during the event," Shmyhal posted on Telegram.

In particular, several memoranda will be signed: between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Italian Trade Agency to intensify trade relations; between the Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways) and the MERMEC company which specializes in diagnostics of railway tracks; between agricultural associations for the implementation of modern projects in the process of restoration of Ukraine; between the company We Build and Ukrhydroenergo on cooperation in the construction of hydroelectric power stations.

In addition, a memorandum for environmental protection and restoration of ecology and a memorandum of cooperation in the industrial sector will be signed.

In addition to the EUR 500 million credit line, the Italian Export Credit Agency is ready to allocate another EUR 1 billion to support trade and financial operations.

Kharkiv region and the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna, Kyiv region and Tuscany will sign the cooperation memoranda.

As reported, PM Shmyhal participates in the bilateral conference on the reconstruction of Ukraine in Italy.
