Ukraine’s agri-export through Grain Corridors reaches 28.3M tonnes

Since the launch of the Black Sea Grain Initiative, 28.3 million tonnes of grain were exported from Ukraine by 903 bulkers.

This was reported to the Ministry of National Defense of Türkiye after a meeting between the Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction and Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov and the Minister of National Defense of Türkiye Hulusi Akar, Ukrinform reports with reference to the Turkish government.

"The steps that need to be taken for the smooth and continuous operation of the Initiative, which has so far ensured the safe delivery of 28.3 million tonnes of grain by 903 vessels to countries in need of assistance, were discussed," the statement said.

It was also noted that the meeting was held in a positive and constructive atmosphere. Evaluations were given to the Grain Initiative.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Oleksandr Kubrakov, after a meeting in Kayseri announced the renewal of ship inspections, despite Russia's attempt to disrupt the Grain Deal.
