Ukraine already exported more than 30M tonnes of grain

Ukraine exported 30.014 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops in the current marketing year (from July 2022 to February 17, 2023), according to the State Customs Service of Ukraine.

In the current marketing year, Ukraine exported: 10.7 million tonnes of wheat, 1.98 million tonnes of barley, 15.2 thousand tonnes of rye, and 17.2 million tonnes of corn, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food said.

At the same time, during the same period of 2021/2022, Ukraine exported 41.96 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops, including 17.74 million tonnes of wheat, 5.57 million tonnes of barley, 159.1 thousand tonnes of rye, and 18.2 million tonnes corn.

On February 1-17, 2023, Ukraine exported 3.04 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops (compared with 3.49 million tonnes on February 1-17, 2022), including 975 thousand tonnes of wheat (691 thousand tonnes), 164 thousand tonnes of barley (86 thousand tonnes), 3 thousand tonnes of rye (2.6 thousand tonnes), and 1.89 million tonnes of corn (2.69 million tonnes).

In the 2022/2023 marketing year, Ukraine exported 92.5 thousand tonnes of flour (65.7 thousand tonnes in 2021/2022 MY). On 1-17 February 2023, Ukraine’s flour exports came to 10.1 thousand tonnes (2.1 thousand tonnes on 1-17 February 2022).

As reported by Ukrinform, as of February 2023, nearly 33 million tonnes of grain remain in Ukraine, which are to be exports, including grain of the 2021 harvest and of the 2022 harvest.
