UAE delivers first shipment of generators for Ukraine, second expected in January

The team of the Ukrainian State Property Fund has received the first shipment of generators for Ukraine from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Warsaw.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian State Property Fund, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“As part of the agreements reached between Ukraine and the UAE on humanitarian assistance, the team of the Ukrainian State Property Fund has received the first aid shipment in Warsaw: 1,200 generators for Ukraine,” the report states.

The second shipment with 1,200 generators is expected to arrive in early January 2023.

The generators will be handed over to health facilities, educational institutions and critical infrastructure objects in the regions affected by Russian armed aggression, such as Kherson, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa and Kyiv.

A reminder that the UAE announced the supply of 2,500 generators to Ukraine, ranging from 3.5 to 8 kilowatt in capacity.
