Over 109,000 land transactions registered in Ukraine

As of July 23, 2022, a total of 109,990 transactions were signed in the Ukrainian land market.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

A total of 5,576 notaries submitted requests to access the State Land Cadastre. In general, a total of 6,265 requests were submitted, of which 5,492 requests were approved, 771 requests were denied, and two requests are on the waiting list for approval.

In terms of the area of land plots affected by transactions, the following regions took the lead: Kharkiv Region, Dnipropetrovsk Region, Kherson Region, Kirovohrad Region and Poltava Region.

A reminder that Ukraine’s land market was launched on July 1, 2021. Until 2024, only individuals who are Ukrainian citizens will be able to buy agricultural lands (up to 100 hectares per individual).
