Ambassador Prystaiko calls on British companies Unilever, OSTC to exit Russian market

Ukrainian Ambassador to the United Kingdom Vadym Prystaiko has said he is disappointed that well-known British companies Unilever and OSTC continue to do business in Russia.

The diplomat wrote this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

"Every third bullet shot now at Ukrainians is sponsored by taxes paid by the Western business in Russia. We urge all British companies to exit Russian market. We are frustrated by Unilever and OSTC still doing business in Russia," Prystaiko said.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba earlier said that as of June 8, some 1,537 companies had left the Russian market or cut their business in Russia.
