Ukrainian foreign minister calls on Australia to include Ukraine in system of tariff preferences

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has called on Australia to provide more weapons to Ukraine and proposed including the country in the Australian System of Tariff Preferences.

That’s according to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Ukrinform reports.

According to the report, Kuleba held talks with Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong, thanked her for military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine and called on Australia to provide more heavy weapons to Ukraine and proposed including the country in the Australian System of Tariff Preferences in order to support the Ukrainian economy.

On February 24, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Its troops are shelling and destroying critical infrastructure, shelling residential areas of Ukrainian cities, towns and villages using artillery, multiple rocket launchers and ballistic missiles.
