Ukraine gov’t allocates UAH119B for defense

The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated UAH 119 billion for the Ministry of Defense, and another UAH 28 billion for the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, who spoke at a government meeting on Friday, April 29, Ukrinform reports.

"The first and key priority is to finance our Army. Today at the Government meeting we are allocating over UAH 119 billion for the Ministry of Defense. Allowances, equipment, fuel, food, protection, and weapons. We try to make sure our fighters have what they need, as much as possible," Shmyhal said.

Also, according to the head of government, more than UAH 28 billion has been allocated to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the same needs.

The Armed Forces, the Territorial Defense Forces, and the entire Ukrainian nation are effectively repelling Russian onslaught and inflicting heavy losses on the enemy.
