Zelensky discusses with IMF head the issue of post-war reconstruction

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky discussed with Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Kristalina Georgieva the issues of ensuring Ukraine's financial stability and preparations for post-war reconstruction.

Zelensky wrote about this on his Twitter account, Ukrinform reports.

“Discussed with IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva the issue of ensuring Ukraine's financial stability and preparations for post-war reconstruction. We have clear plans for now, as well as a vision of prospects,” he wrote.

Zelensky also noted he is sure that the cooperation between the IMF and Ukraine will continue to be fruitful.

As reported, Kristalina Georgieva said that the IMF had increased emergency financing to help Ukraine, launched a special account for further funding, and works with international partners to prepare for the massive reconstruction effort.
