Cooperation with Westinghouse to strengthen Ukraine's energy security - U.S. Embassy

The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine has welcomed the agreement between the U.S. company Westinghouse and Ukraine’s National Nuclear Energy Generating Company Energoatom to complete the construction of two power units at the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant.

The embassy wrote this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

“Congratulations to Westinghouse and Energoatom! The expansion of their partnership bolsters Ukraine's energy security and clean energy production through state-of-the-art American technology,” reads the report.

As Ukrinform reported, Ukraine's National Nuclear Energy Generating Company Energoatom and U.S. nuclear power company Westinghouse agreed to complete the construction of two power units at the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant. The agreement was signed at the international conference "Nuclear Capabilities for the Country’s Development" in Kyiv.
