President's Office plans to develop economic recovery program

Ukraine plans to create and implement an economic recovery program since the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic is over.

Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko said this at the All-Ukrainian Forum "Ukraine 30. Labor Resources" on Tuesday, July 20, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“We believe the crisis is over. We understand that the underfinancing, underinvestment in the economy last year has a delayed effect, and we can get a decline in 2022 and 2023. That is why we are now focused on developing and implementing an economic recovery program, already based on the experience we had with effective government programs in previous years," she noted.

Earlier, Ukraine's First Deputy Prime Minister, Economy Minister Oleksii Liubchenko said that the Ministry of Economy was developing a system of inter-sectoral balance, within which five points of growth for the Ukrainian economy are identified.
