Low-cost airline easyJet receives permission to fly from Italy to Ukraine – media

One of the largest low-cost carriers in Europe, easyJet, has received permission to operate flights from Italy to Ukraine, according to Avianews.

"According to the official information of the Italian Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC), the airline requested and received the rights to fly from Italy to Ukraine by the end of October 2020," the statement reads.

At the moment, the list of routes is unknown, but it is reported that easyJet will be able to operate 12 weekly flights to Ukraine. Rights were issued on July 23 to the Austrian subdivision of easyJet – easyJet Europe Airline GmbH.

The airline easyJet has never flown to Ukraine.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air announced the launch of 14 new routes from Ukrainian airports to Italian cities.
