Zhytomyr to receive UAH 12 mln for sport and recreation infrastructure - Zubko

Ukraine’s Government will allocate UAH 12 million for the development of sport and recreation infrastructure in the city of Zhytomyr.

Vice Prime Minister - Minister for Regional Development, Construction and Utilities of Ukraine Hennadiy Zubko said this at the celebration of the City Day in Zhytomyr, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The Government approved a decree according to which UAH 12 million from the EU will be allocated for the development of sport and recreation structures in Zhytomyr, in particular cycle lanes near the Teteriv River. This should inspire the citizens of Zhytomyr to go in for sports, and also to involve the people of Kyiv, Rivne, Vinnytsa to come to Zhytomyr to ride a bicycle," Zubko said.
