Ukrainian SkyUp Airlines to operate its first flights today

The newly created Ukrainian SkyUp Airlines will operate its first flights today, May 21, 2018.

This was announced by Infrastructure Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelian, the press service of the Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine reports.

"Today, SkyUp operates its first two flights to Egypt's resort towns. I would like to remind that SkyUp plans to operate not only international charter flights but to launch also regular Ukrainian and international flights in the first year of operation," Omelian said.

The State Aviation Service of Ukraine favors the work of national and foreign companies to the greatest possible extent, the minister added.

In 2018, the SkyUp charter flights will be operated from Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv and Odesa in 16 destinations: Antalya, Bodrum, Dalaman, Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada, Tivat, Barcelona, ​​Palma de Mallorca, Tenerife, Alicante, Tirana, Rimini, Burgas, Varna, Larnaca, Dubai.

It is planned that the first domestic regular flights will be launched at the end of June 2018. At first, the flights are planned in two directions: Kyiv – Odesa, Kharkiv – Odesa.

In 2018, the international scheduled flights are planned in the following directions: Kyiv -  Barcelona, ​​Kyiv – Dubai, Kyiv – Larnaca.
