Donetsk region actively restores transport infrastructure – Zhebrivsky

Donetsk region actively restored its transport infrastructure last year.

In particular, 150 roads of communal ownership and eight bridges were repaired, and five new asphalt plants were built in 2017.

Head of the Donetsk Military and Civil Regional Administration Pavlo Zhebrivsky said during a press conference in Kramatorsk on March 1, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The restoration of transport infrastructure is very important for Donetsk region. Last year, 153 communal roads were repaired and the traffic on 52.3 km of main roads was opened ... These roads that we built together with the municipalities will serve people who live in these towns. We will continue to work in this direction," Zhebrivsky said.
