Commander-in-Chief Zaluzhny meets with adviser of NATO Representation to Ukraine

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Major General Valeriy Zaluzhny met with Major General (Retired) Michael Repass, Strategic Adviser on Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the NATO Representation to Ukraine.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

The parties discussed plans for military cooperation between the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the NATO Special Operations Headquarters in terms of expanding and deepening the operational (combat, special) capabilities required for full interoperability by NATO standards with Allied Special Operations Forces in the context of the overall reform of the security and defense sector of Ukraine.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine expressed gratitude for the comprehensive assistance provided by the NATO Representation to Ukraine and the NATO Information and Documentation Center in Ukraine to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in reforming and developing within the framework of the NATO Trust Funds in support of Ukraine.

As Ukrinform reported, on August 11, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed Decree No. 348/2021 "On the Communication Strategy for Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic Integration until 2025" in order to implement Ukraine's strategic course for gaining full membership in NATO and ensuring its support by Ukrainian citizens.
