Red Cross delivers over 50 tonnes of cargo to occupied part of Donetsk, Luhansk regions

More than 50 tonnes of humanitarian aid have been delivered to the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the press service of the Ministry for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine has reported.

"Today, on April 29, six trucks delivered humanitarian goods weighing a total of 55.595 tonnes to Russia-occupied parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions," the report reads.

The cargo was transferred from all member states of the Geneva Conventions that make contributions to the global budget of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

The trucks with humanitarian aid, namely construction materials, drove through the Novotroitske entry-exit checkpoint.

On April 27, six trucks delivered 112.93 tonnes of humanitarian goods to Russia-occupied parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
