Ukraine, Jordan sign memorandum of cooperation

Ukraine and Jordan have signed a memorandum of cooperation, which opens new opportunities for the development of interaction between the countries.

The memorandum was signed during a meeting of Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine Oleh Urusky with an official delegation of the Armed Forces of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan headed by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordanian Armed Forces Major General Yousef Huneiti, according to the Government portal.

During the event, the parties discussed the development of bilateral cooperation between the countries in various areas.

During the discussion, Urusky noted that Ukraine and Jordan have significant potential for intensifying cooperation. In addition, he informed the head of the delegation about the plans to reform Ukraine's defense industry.

For his part, the head of the Jordanian delegation thanked for the warm welcome, which was organized at a high level. He stressed that he is authorized at all levels of government to implement investment projects. Major General Yousef Huneiti also praised the capabilities of the Ukrainian defense companies he attended during his visit to Ukraine, and expressed interest in deepening bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

Following the meeting between the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, a memorandum was signed, which opens new opportunities for the development of cooperation between the countries.
