President should publicly assess Russia's actions on disruption of truce - Butusov

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky should make a public assessment of the actions of the Russian Federation following the death of the eighth Ukrainian soldier in Donbas since the beginning of the so-called "harvest ceasefire" on July 21, editor-in-chief of the news portal Censor.NET Yuriy Butusov has written on Facebook.

"This is the eighth Ukrainian serviceman who died at the front during a new ceasefire declared by the president of Ukraine on July 21. It's time to decide on the terms. Russia demonstrably violates the terms of the truce. Russia disrupts the exchange of prisoners of war. Russia disrupts even the demining of a bridge in Stanytsia Luhanska. [Russian President Vladimir] Putin is not going to stop the war," Butusov said.

He called on Zelensky to give a public assessment of the apparent disruption of the truce.

Ukrainian fighter Dmytro Dashkovets, who was wounded near the village of Shyrokyne on August 9, died at Mechnykov Hospital in Dnipro on August 12. This is the eighth soldier killed since the beginning of the ceasefire on July 21.
