JFO commander shows US delegation evidence of Russian aggression in Donbas

Ukrainian Joint Forces Commander, Lieutenant General Oleksandr Syrsky has informed a U.S. delegation about the security situation in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area and presented irrefutable evidence of the Russian aggression in Donbas.

"Members of the American delegation were presented with irrefutable evidence of the Russian aggression in Donbas. In particular, some pieces of armament and military equipment captured from the enemy were demonstrated. This weapon is used by the Russian occupying forces on the territory of Luhansk and Donetsk regions," the JFO press center reported on its Facebook page.

The JFO commander met with member of the Atlantic Council's Board of Directors David Petraeus and Director of the Atlantic Council's Dinu Patriciu Eurasia Center John Herbst.

As noted, the American delegation also visited Avdiivka, where they met with the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who perform combat missions directly on the contact line. The foreign guests visited the local memorial in honor of the fallen Ukrainian soldiers.
