Ukrainian Joint Forces shoot down Russian drone near Avdiivka
Ukrainian Joint Forces servicemen have shot down another Russian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in Donbas, the JFO Headquarters press center has reported.
“Despite the ceasefire agreements, the invaders continue to carry out provocative acts to accuse the units of the Joint Forces of violating the "spring truce". Thus, near Avdiivka (17km north of Donetsk), the enemy made a provocation using a UAV, which flew over the positions of our units in order to clarify the construction of the defense system and to expose the fire system of the JFO units,” the report says.
As noted, thanks to the coordinated actions of the observers and calculations of other fire weapons, the provocation was stopped, and the enemy’s unmanned aerial vehicle was destroyed.
The downed drone was transferred to specialists for the study and identification, according to the JFO Headquarters.
