U.S. drone makes reconnaissance flight over Donbas, Crimea

A RQ-4B Global Hawk unmanned aircraft of the U.S. Air Force made a reconnaissance flight along the contact line in Donbas, near the coast of occupied Crimea and the Krasnodar Krai of Russia on February 11, 2018, according to the monitoring data of Western aviation sites.

The UAV spent more than four hours surveilling the situation along the contact line in Donbas, while in the airspace controlled by the Ukrainian authorities.

At around 12.00, according to aviation sites, the drone headed towards the Black Sea and made at least four spans from the westernmost point of the peninsula along its southwestern and southern coast, as well as the Krasnodar Krai of Russia up to Sochi.

The U.S. drone was at an altitude of more than 15,000 meters and had a speed of about 600 km/h.
