Militants launched eight attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Russian-backed militants launched eight attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas in last day.

In Luhansk direction, illegal armed formations used 120mm mortars, grenade launchers and machine guns to fire at Ukrainian positions near Troitske (69km west of Luhansk). Militants also used grenade launchers and small arms to launch attacks on the defenders of Zhovte (17km north-west of Luhansk).

In Donetsk direction, Russian-backed militants opened fire from 82mm mortars on ATO troops near Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk). Militants also used grenade launchers of various types and infantry weapons to launch attacks on the defenders of Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk), Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Butovka coal mine (11.4km north-west of Donetsk) and Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk).
