Militants launched 94 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 94 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas over the past day.

The tensest situation is observed in Donetsk direction. Militants used 122mm artillery, 120mm and 82mm mortars and grenade launchers to shell Ukrainian positions in Troitske (69km west of Luhansk). ATO troops outside Verkhniotoretske (22km north-east of Donetsk), Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk) and Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk) came under 120mm and 82mm mortar fire.

In Mariupol direction, Russian-backed militants launched attacks on Ukrainian positions near Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk) and Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), using Grad-P multiple rocket launchers, 122mm artillery systems, 120mm and 82mm mortars. ATO troops in Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol) and Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk) came under 122mm artillery system, 120mm mortar fire.

In Luhansk direction, militants used 152mm artillery, tank, 120mm and 82mm mortars to launch attacks on Ukrainian strongholds near Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk).
