Ukraine starts missile tests near occupied Crimea

Ukrainian military drills with missile launches have started in the south of the country.  

Head of the Ukrainian South Air Command's press center Volodymyr Kryzhanivsky said this on the air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.

"The drills have already started. Everything goes according to the plan. There is no response from the Russian Federation. Ukrainian military are ready for any developments," Kryzhanivsky said.

"The crews of air carriers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, units of anti-aircraft missiles, the Army units of surface-to-air missiles, signals troops, and unmanned aviation of Ukraine’s Air Forces will be involved in the drills. The drills include checking flight tests of guided medium-range surface-to-air missiles, namely the S-300 type," he added.

The Head of the press center explained that Ukraine violated nothing by carrying out the drills and did not pose a threat to the occupied peninsula.
