ATO headquarters: Number of attacks in Donbas increased to 68 in last day

The number of attacks in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone over the past 24 hours.in Donbas increased to 68, the press center of the ATO headquarters reports.

In Luhansk direction, 36 ceasefire violations were recorded. Terrorists shelled Novooleksandrivka, Novozvanivka, Trokhizbenka, Stanitsa Luhanska, and Popasna using small arms, grenade launchers and machine guns. Also, Russian-backed militants used 120-mm an 82-mm caliber mortars to shell Ukrainian army strongholds near Novooleksandrivka and Novozvanivka. Enemy snipers were recorded in Novooleksandrivka, Popasna and Stepne. Terrorists also used self-propelled anti-air defense in Novooleksandrivka.

In Donetsk direction, 13 ceasefire violations were recorded. Militants used small arms, grenade launchers, machine guns to shell Ukrainian troops near Avdiivka, Zaitseve, Novhoroske and Kamianka. Also, terrorists shelled Novoselivka Druha and Avdiivka using 120-mm caliber mortars.

In Mariupol direction, terrorists launched 19 attacks on Ukrainian positions. The enemy used small arms, machine guns, grenade launchers to shell Marinka, Shyrokyno, Starohnativka, and Hnutove. Near Slavne, anti-tank missile system was use.

In addition, one unmanned aerial vehicle was recorded in the ATO zone in the past day.
